WHEN THIS IS USEFUL

A good fit for this kind of task.

  • Regular buyers repeatedly ask for the same catalogue or documents.
  • Different customers need different prices or access rules.
  • Ordering needs to stay connected to the existing stock or ERP system.
01

Map the buying journey

We define how a buyer signs in, finds the right products, chooses quantities and submits an order. Staff must be able to see what happened and continue fulfilment.

02

Keep the business rules consistent

Pack sizes, minimum quantities, warehouses, customer groups and payment states are included when agreed in the scope. Source data and available integration methods are checked first.

03

Launch the essential actions first

A useful first version can cover access, catalogue and ordering. More documents, pricing scenarios and operational roles can follow after the core route has been accepted.

SELECTED WORK

Real projects. Practical business workflows.

Two examples of custom development for wholesale businesses. Explore the task, the system and the decisions behind it.

BEFORE WE START

A few practical questions.

A standard B2B platform or a custom portal?

First, we compare the workflow with what your existing software supports. A custom portal is considered when important ordering rules, permissions or connections need a specific solution. This is a development service, not a ready-made subscription.

What determines the cost of a B2B portal?

The catalogue and data quality, customer groups, pricing rules, documents and stock or ERP connection. The first phase can cover access, catalogue and ordering; further features are agreed separately.

How is the delivery schedule agreed?

We define the first release and check dependencies, access and content before agreeing a schedule. I do not promise the same deadline for every website or business system.

Do we need to start with a call?

No. We can use email, a written brief, prototypes and screen recordings with subtitles. You can review them when it suits you.

Who owns the finished product?

The agreed code, access and instructions are handed over to you. Any third-party services, licences or ongoing costs are identified in the scope.

How does payment work?

The payment method, currency and schedule are confirmed in the written proposal before work starts. No payment is collected on this website.

Can you help after launch?

Yes, support and further development can be agreed as a separate scope. We can expand the working product in phases rather than decide every future feature before launch.

LET’S BUILD SOMETHING USEFUL

What would you like to build or improve?

Tell me about the business, the task and what you would like to change. I’ll reply by email with questions or a practical next step.
